The Future

Recently lots of people have been asking me what I am going to do next. I find this question strange as, unless you my brother Ivan and have had the same dream for years, its a question with a multitude of possible answers. One could simply say 'probably go to bed later or eat a sandwich' in order to divert the question or, as I always say, 'I dunno, go travelling, go to uni, move in with tom, get him to be rich so I can own my own cake shop and have loads of cats.' but that is more of a dream plan.

My brother Ivan, whom I am extremely proud of, is now on the final leg of completing his life plan... He just got an offer for Cambridge to study medicine... This is a pretty good thing to study as everyone needs doctors, it is quite a highly paid job, and you know the outcome basically from start. However having such a clever brother has always made me sort of rebel from trivial things such as what I want to do in life and where my life is headed. but now I am starting to realise that I actually start considering what I want to do.

So here is what I am thinking so far....
Ideally I want to take a year off at the end of A levels and move in with Tom, work whilst he is at uni and then go travelling with him on his breaks... I love the idea of travelling but I dont really want to do it on my own... I have been reading about International jobs in places like Disneyland and Camp America and it all looks really fun so I was considering do that for a summer! I would also love to visit Thailand, India, Bali and Australia to name a few countrys! And then after that year is over I want to go to Uni somewhere around London and Reading (hopefully I will know what I want to study then) and live in Halls for my first year as I want the 'experience' then move into a house with Tom again and some other people, get a cat and life happily ever after!
