Classic Serbia
So if you didn't know a couple of weeks ago I went to Belgrade which, as we all know, is in Serbia. Whilst there we stayed at this amazing hostel called Montmartre Hostel I would recommend it to any traveller as the staff our lovely, they have a good rec room, free wifi and kind of comfy beds!
We where mainly there to visit family which was quite fun though not when everyone is speaking Serbian and you have no idea what is going on or being said. I went with my brother Dragan and my mum. Dragan and I got around this lingual barrier by pretending to know what was going on!
Though that wasn't the good part... The best part was the Halloween party we went to...
Staying at the hostel along side us where 2 Ozzys, Matt and Simon, and a Kiwi, PhiL, they where exploring Europe and like Dragan and myself decided to go out on Halloween too so naturally we pre-drank and went out together.
Now I should tell you that in Serbia Alcohol is stupidly and I mean stupidly cheap, like £3.50 for a bottle of rum (though it didn't taste much like rum), so we proceeded to get utterly hammered but boy was it fun!
Now also in Serbia they aren't very PC as you shall see by this photo of a strangers outfit...

Blood donation
As you can probably tell from the title this blog is about blood donation, which is what I did today and well... it was an expirence.
I am no novice at blood donation, at least I've done it as much as I can for someone of my age... So this was my second time and everything was pretty standard, drink a large amount of water, read a leaflet and get checked in. But then things started going a bit wrong.
First they do a pin prick and get some blood to see if you are anaemic However the blood in my finger did not want to come out one bit as so therefore they pricked another finger with a bigger needle, this stung quite a lot and made me feel sad...
Luckily I passed this level and got to go onto lever 2. Blood donation.
This was all fine and dandy apart from the fact that the guy seemed unsure where to put the needle and kept talking about my arm to other nurses... Though this lead me tell him to stop talking about my arm because it has feelings and thus some Blood Donation banter ensued. My blood really didn't want to come out and so I had to do all these exercises in order to get it flowing so I looked a bit silly but aah well.
Then you get to sit down and eat loads of biscuits and drink juice because you've been such a good person... Unnaturally however this is where things started going badly wrong and this conversation will give you the gist:
Nurse: 'Hey would you like to book an appointment for next time?'
Me: 'Yeah sure I'd love to'
Nurse: 'Okay do you have your slip with the code?'
Me (getting confused and loosing my hearing/sight: 'No they didn't give me back the... errr. thingy thing...'
Nurse: 'What do you mean'
Me: 'Hold that thought, I think I'm going to faint so could I possible lie down here?'
Yep I politely started to faint and but luckily I did in a sensible manner so I didn't loose conciousness ! This was so embarrassing as I had to keep lying there for a while with a screen around me like some major incident. To be fair the guy explained to me that in ratio I gave more blood than most as they take the same amount from me as they do for a 16 stone man.
I then got up, ate a penguin bar and then politely lay down before almost fainting again! (I know I'm such a pro at this!)
Though I would still do it again without a doubt and booked my next appointment whilst lying on the ground.
In short, Give Blood. It may not be fun but it saves lives and is generally a good thing to do! Plus you get a cool sticker and a cool plaster!

I got my Vespa Back!
So over summer I saved and saved and saved and eventually bought this:
Valentino the Vespa
Oooh isn't he pretty?! It's so fun to ride and soo handy too as it now means 20 mins extra in bed <3
I also got this amazing helmet from NEXX. I wanted something that said slick and not boy racer so I went for the tradition Vespa-looking helmet but with this amazing Batik pattern on it
It's so warm and cozy and safe inside!
Que awkward picture of myself in helmet...
My head is really small and the helmet makes me look like an alien....
The cool snood I'm wearing is from Buff and was given to be by my friend will. It keeps my nose from getting cold :)
So that is my ride... I hope you approve of it

Remembrance Sunday
There where some things that I was certain of as a child, for instance the fact that I would never move house, that all cats where girls and all dogs boys, that when I grew up, like my parents, I would go to university and finally that when I was properly grow up I would have a big white wedding and my dad would walk me down the isle to Mr. Right.
On growing up I discovered that unfortunately all these things are in fact untrue.
I discovered cats weren't all girls and dogs weren't all boys mainly through watching Disney, films such as The Aristocats and 101 Dalmatians, and I wasn't that phased, I could handle it. Then I moved house which was rather exciting because my old house was a bungalow so, naturally, stairs excited the hell out of me. The move was a pretty easy thing to deal with what with the exciting prospect of meeting new people and living by the sea (plus the stairs). Though it wasn't all dandy as I was moving away from my next-door-to-london position, my family, my friends and my drama group. Then I decided that I wanting to go to Acting school rather than Uni and now I find myself learning monolouges and the like for auditions which is another scary thing though also incredibly exciting and interesting. You see non of these changes to my thought really made much different, the fact that cats aren't all girls? yeah I can live with that a cat has gotta get some lovin' somewhere. No these things are all fine and dandy as far as I'm concerned. But the thing I can't stand, the thing that I can't get my head round no matter how hard I try is the fact that my dad is never going to walk me down the isle. Not only that but he'll never hug me again, no more singing round the house or ridiculous dancing, I even miss his bad cooking, no one could make fruit salad the way he did, with almost half a bottle of vodka!
For those of you that didn't know my dad died on the 11/5/2012 of Cancer. Cancer's a bitch eh?
I watched him slip away over a period of about 4 days and if i'm honest it was shit, but at least that was the only time I saw him properly suffer.
I am pretty sure however that I am the last person he said anything loving to though. You see every morning before school I would go into my parents room and show my dad what I was wearing, give him a twirl and ask him how I looked, he would always tell me I look beautiful and then I'd tell him that I love him and he would say it back, and that's exactly what happened the day he went into hospital. A little lame I know but it was our 'thing' our routine and I shall hold that memory forever.
I don't know why i'm writing this, I just needed to get it out I guess. I just miss him so much.

Things things things
Hey y'all, So I've just got back from a 9 hour shift, yeah you read the right biatch 9 whole hours. It's quite a new job which I'm just getting used to (it's at Waitrose by the way) but so far it's all good. I currently work in their bakery so I get to cook off all the delicious bread that they produce!
Christmas is coming up along with loads of birthdays so unfortunately most of my first pay check will be going towards that (Boo) I am also finding it incredibly hard to think of gifts for people which is a bit of a bummer... help anyone?
On to Dr. Martens
So when I was little I had a pair of 'Docs' similar to these:
But mine had flowers on. They where a hand-me-down from my biggest and bestest sister Polly and at the time I hated them, I really did, I refused to wear them and I thought I would be laughed at. It's only now I realise that they where actually pretty awesome. So many of the clothes I had when I was a kid where awesome and I would probably pay good money to have them in adult size, pokemon shirts, disney princess dress up, cute dresses and most of all hand knitted jumpers that my Grandmother used to make.
I just realised that that was completely off the point and what I was going to talk about was the awesome stuff that DrMarten in now doing and how I wish I had the extra P in order to buy some of these beautiful items!
Tooo much awesome stuff and no was enough money :(
That's not me, It's just what I do!

Top purchases since I've been here
With any long period of time comes new purchases and I have had my fair share so I thought I would share with you the cream of the crop!
My mostest favouritest thing is a rugby top that I treated myself to are these Harry Potter Items which I got on a Visit to the Harry Potter Studio Tour which was just an amazing thing in itself as I love all things Potter!
I also got a matching set of Gloves and Scarf which keep my very toasty!
I have recently started a job in Waitrose which was a perfect excuse to get my hands on a pair of Red or Dead brouges, I say get my hands like I bought them though this is in fact a lie, it was the wonderful Tom that bought me them. I love the style of these and they are soo comfy! Though a bit slippery on some of the surfaces but I can get over that...
and going back a while now I treated myself to a variety of various things from Top Shop and an amazing bag from ASOS which unfortunately is now falling apart, though I still use it!
Though my biggest bargain has to be these Dr. Martens that I purchased from T.K Maxx for £30 (original price £130!)
Though, as can only be expected, there are still some things I am longing for including these items...

I think I might start at this again
Hey guys, it's been a while hasn't is?!
Loads has been happening recently which has put me off blogging but now I am back with the hope that my dear friend Lauren will be joining me soon!
First of all I feel as though my bedroom has now become completed by the fact that my cat Salsa now sleeps in it (cue cute photo of her with myself awkwardly posed for the laptop)
As most of my friend will know I am slightly crazy about my cat, as a kid I always wanted one, I got her when I was around 8 and she is purrfect!
Hope that you haven't missed me who ever is reading this!

Lucy is right, I haven't blogged in ages...
... and Im not even sure why, guess I just got out of the swing of it all though you readers will be delighted to know that I have been doing things in my blogging absence.... those shall come in the form of some other blogs!
So today, like the rest of the week, I have been ill... at least my voice has come back though! Today I attempted to go into school but then came straight home after over heating and then almost fainting! I then popped into a charity shop a bought a pretty awesome red shirt for £2... it has a lovely collar! (pictures to come)
I also went up and visited Tom where we had a romantic day and watched Les Miserables.... this shall all go into another blog!
I am currently sat eating popcorn and wondering where my sister is so that we can watch gossip girl!
Anyway people, watch out for my next blogs!
I shall end this with a funny and inexplicable picture I found:
